Having a hobby is a really good idea
Especially when you’re easily bored,
like me.
Me and a few friends have gotten a band together
And we meet once a week now, to write
music.
You’d think a person who writes poems
Would write fantastic lyrics, but guess what?
You’re wrong.
So far, all we’ve managed to do is
Shout about handjobs and obscene things
into the mic.
My friend Marc is handy with the bass
Ryan is keen on sequencing and guitar and
me, synthesizers.
If anything, the tunes are starting to sound
Like catchy independent dance-rock
party music.
Ryan suggests our next project should be
Children’s songs. I really think we need to do
Cher covers.
In the end, we’ve decided to pioneer
A totally new music. We call it:
Retard Fusion.
