Trying to be one of the good souls is a
constant battle.

But don’t fret, it’s not impossible.

Think of it like this:

Imagine yourself running on the edge of a
Keenly sharp knife, trying to keep steady.
It’s not easy, but if you run fast enough
     on nimble feet
You’ll find yourself flying in no time.

It’s true, though, some of us come loaded
With emotional luggage that we carry, daily,
But if you shift just the right amount into
Each hand, you might find that with
A bit of trickery and a good attitude
Being a good soul is easier than
You might have imagined.

I won’t lie and say it’s easy.

But I will tell you one thing:
It’s worth the effort.

Hey, at least your conscience will thank you,
And if I ever get a chance to meet you,
I’ll thank you too.
