People often forget
To treat their own bodies
Like a campground.

Generally,
You want to leave it in
Better shape
Than you found it.

I know that seems
Damn near impossible,
But, come on.

Do you really think
It’s such a good idea
To be lugging around
Sticks of butter, hamburgers,
French fries, milkshakes,
All strapped to your thighs
And ass?

Didn’t think so.

Sorry,
I don’t mean
To come off
As preachy.

It’s just hard
To take you seriously
When you complain
About your health
While eating
Fried chicken.
